Use this procedure to configure EasyShare software when using an HTTP proxy server and/or a user name and password to access the Internet (for example, a corporate network).
1. In My Collection, choose Tools � Preferences and then click the Online Settings tab.
2. Do the following as appropriate.
u Select Use an HTTP proxy server.
u In the Address and Port fields, enter your HTTP address and port number. These fields are initially set to the proxy settings configured in Windows Internet Explorer.
If your default browser is not Windows Internet Explorer, you can locate your address and port information by starting your browser and displaying the browser Preferences dialog box.
u If you require a user name and password to access the Internet, select Use a user name and password and enter the information in the appropriate text fields.
3. Click Apply and then click OK.
